About:
I have been doing artwork from an early age, I've created an online Cedar Skye gallery cedarskye.com. In my career as a graphic designer, I worked briefly for two great design firms in Seattle, then went on to design departments at Microsoft and AT&T. During my stint as a graphic designer at Microsoft, I designed product logos, print materials, publications and packaging for Windows and Office software. When I left Microsoft, I worked for a start-ups to help them launch their brand, in 2000. I currently design websites and consults on design projects for various businesses throughout the Seattle area.

Profile:
I was raised in the Seattle Washington, the son of an interior designer father and a locally known astrologist mother both raised in the Washington state. In high school, I dreamed of becoming an actor, but shifted my focus to graphic design after my father encouraged me to pursue my creative talent in art. After graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle, I worked for the design firms of Ted Mader and Associates and Van Dyke Design. During my five-year stint within design firms, I designed book covers, brochures, signs, logos and annual reports for large corporations. Among other familiar projects, I designed the entire bus system map for Community Transit, in Everett Washington. All along the way I have maintained a passion for art, specifically watercolor paintings, illustration and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop generated photographic, art and illustrations.
