Penny Coleshaw

I am a 73 year grandmother and sadly an above knee amputee but still fit and healthy and active. I have a lot of pain in my non existent foot so painting is a way of losing myself in the art and blocks out any pain. I chose watercolour as I can sit and paint, besides which I just adore the medium. I am doing a lot of copying which is not good but it helps me such a lot. I hope to learn to get away from that and do my own work. I have done a nursery collection and coming from South Africa lots of proteas.
