I was a Registered Respiratory Therapist for 30+ years. It was a wonderful career until the tragic death of my 14-year-old son Justin. He was run over by a car doing 70 mph in a 30-mph zone. The driver fled the scene. Loving neighbors came to his aid. Police apprehended the driver in less than 24 hours. He is in jail for 5-15 years. My life will never be complete. A year after Justin died, I was diagnosed with oral cancer- they removed a third of my tongue and all my lymph nodes on the side of my face, later I did 12 weeks of radiation. I am cancer free for 3 years!! I became a Life Coach and started doing grief counseling and blogging about my recovery. I want to help people put the broken pieces back together and be able to move on.... To feel JOY, PEACE, LOVE AND HAPPINESS-Again.
