Octavio Bugni

My name is Octavio Bugni and I’m a jazz pianist & composer.
For the last 5 years, I’ve taught adult jazz piano, jazz music history and composition in renowned musical institutions such as the Municipal Conservatory and Jam Session School of Music in Barcelona. I’ve also worked extensively with children teaching intro to piano courses at Tallers de Musica. Throughout these experiences, I’ve further developed my dynamic teaching skills from leading jazz combos to creating tailor-made teaching plans for a diverse range of ages and levels.

My teaching skills are further complemented by my background in music production and management as the main producer for Desigual. As a jazz performer, I’m also very well versed in composition, improvisation and interplay. I recently launched my first solo album – Cruzar Mundos - leading a diverse group of artists from Spain and Argentina.
