Garland Cole

My grandfather was a friend of Walt Disney. I was fortunate enough to attend the opening day of Disneyland in Anaheim, California on July 17th, 1955, with my grandfather, my father and mother. My father was an Architect and designed some of Disney's animators homes. I never went to work for Disney Studios, but I became one of the first Imagine-engineers in the private sector of business. I worked in the Orientations department of Rockwell International and participated in the development and rollout of the Space Shuttle program. I worked on many creative projects. I was a friend of Michael Jackson. I created, designed, as well composed music with him back in the early1980s. Later, I went on to create and build Children Theaters across the US. I am now retired, and a grandfather myself.
