My passion for art really ignited midlife. I had dabbled with watercolour in the past, but never really embraced it. During the first lockdown in the UK, I dabbled more and more and people liked my work. I was then on a mission to paint art to the best of my ability, but I needed guidance. I have sold some acrylic and watercolour paintings over the past year, a mixture of media and I am currently working on a commission. However I am still finding my own style. I was pretty useless drawing portraits, so I was delighted when I found a course showing portraits step by step. After the second lesson I could see a noticeable difference. I have also bought two other courses, landscape and also one on drawing buildings. Excited about where all these will take me.
