Nelson Dewey

I've been involved in art for most of my life. My first professional sale was when I was about 17 years old, in grade 10 (High School). It was a humorous story about some hot rodders that I illustrated. That sale to Hot Rod Magazine got me started on a long career -- cartooning, writing (Visual Storytelling), photography, and illustration -- that continues today, in my 78th year.
For the last 20 years I've worked mostly as a book illustrator ("How-To" books) and as a Storyboard Artist and Illustrator in Movies, TV and animation.
Throughout my life I've strived to learn new techniques and skills; hopefully this (and other) domestika courses will inspire and enable me to keep learning and creating.
