I started painting 7 years ago with acrylics. When job demands became too much to have the time to paint, I started fiddling around with watercolor and very small paintings. Those turned into cards. I paint a lot of animals, fish, plants, and landscape-ish things. I’m interested in learning how to license my art at some point to create a new career. My favorite artists include John Blockley, Bobby Chiu, James Gurney, Peter Han, Robert McCloskey, and I love the Scottish ‘colourists.’
