I have loved photography since the age of 15 when I got my first instamatic. Brought up on a farm in Ireland I was always struck by the beautiful landscapes and images and wanted to capture them.
Moving the the UK in 1978 to train as a mental health nurse a very different world a whole new perspective opened up.
A photograph, the visual image, writing the minds image of what you want to create, to show to convey. Each a form of creativity, of art which has to be nurtured and developed.
