Hello. My name is Oleg Reshetnyak. I am a hardware programmer now. As a child, I studied at a music school, but I did not feel much love for classes, although I graduated with honors in the piano class. Then I was engaged in sports, athletics for 10 years, and by the age of 25, for health reasons, I had to quit sports, and I had to look for a job. I worked as a sysadmin, technical director, programmer, and when I got my hands on a camera (by that time I was already 27 years old and I had no idea how it all worked, then as it turned out, this activity was so fascinating that for more than 10 years I worked as a professional photographer in various spheres of life: but mostly it's portrait photography. I photographed first friends, then models in my city, then models from different cities from all over the country, hotels, restaurants, advertising companies of clothing manufacturers. Now we are working with friends on a book about recipes for vegetarians. 10 years ago, a friend, she is a professional artist-sculptor, invited me to a drawing course, as they say, just for fun. At the very first lesson, I was so amazed by the difference in approach to the image making that my world as a photographer was completely destroyed and everything had to start over. Provided that already at this moment my photos were recognized and won competitions, namely in portrait photography. I started to keep a sketchbook, and draw everything that came to mind. It still hasn't started to bring me economic income, but all my free time from programming at work, I do music and drawing. Sometimes I try to combine all this. The main thing in this story seems to me that it is necessary to do something that brings satisfaction with the results, and develops thinking not only as an artist, but also as a person.
