Long story short I was lost but now I am found I was blind but now I see....
Never knew I still had it after 40 years after I was expelled from out of Fine Art school in Pretoria South Africa ( I was a troubled young lady with troubled parents and that is where all the crazy started and ended in 2002.
I now live in the Netherlands with hubby Klaas and have been trying to find my purpose here for 10 years as I live in the corner of the forgotten part of the earth a city where poverty is the norm and the rest is made up of unstable people and Navey workers which my husband is one of...I have done the odd shoot and documentary and even been on tv for my faith but not really got my feet on the ground here yet...2021I needed a big opp. and thought, what can I do to pass the time? so I purchased a course in Dutch on how to paint loose portraits...so I started before Christmas and due to a chest infection I then had to postpone my opp. and discovered in the mean time that I could paint..draw...wow a whole new world opened up to me so here I am. Now I am going even deeper because the loose thing is not my thing but the detailing thing wow love it...saw this chap pass by a few times and saw the sale price and jumped a hole in the clouds ...and here I am...lets see if this brings new things to my life and makes others happy...so far I have painted alot portraits in all sorts of meduims and have commissions lined up I shoot my own subjects in the ideal non virus world but also work off old photos or screenshots, sometimes you must improvise...I now have made thismy work, because I love it so so much.
