Rick Mickelson

At age 71 I'm exploring my transition from a career as a photographer at a university to that of a sketcher. I've always loved looking at fine pencil drawings and urban sketchers. My mother was a prolific, lifelong fine artist, teaching into her 80's. She worked in many media, but watercolor was her favorite. I suspect youthful impatience moved me from pencil to photography. Now I am trying improve on my eye-brain-muscle connection.
