Michael Green

Hello everyone. I am Michael Green from Pennsylvania. I am a physician and academic and am currently finishing up a sabbatical leave to pursue some of my own artistic interests. I am one of the founders of the "Graphic Medicine" community that explores the intersection of medicine and comics, and have been teaching a course on comics and medicine to medical students for the past dozen years. I am particularly interested in story-telling through art, and in helping health professionals use creative means to reflect on their experiences and to develop problem-solving skills that enable them to be more compassionate healers. I'm thrilled to be taking this course and have been influenced by Felix's books and web-postings, and I am also a student and big fan of Lynda Barry.
