Would like to get to know Domestika before sharing too much. I am a retired senior citizen. Not necessarily looking for a career. Maybe illustrate a children's book one day. My day job was as a registered nurse at a community hospital.
I did return to college as an adult to study art (part-time). I wanted to go into education - but it was taking too long. I continued at The College of St Rose (located Albany, NY, USA) in studio arts with a concentration on painting and enjoyed creating in all mediums. I have room to learn in all things.
I saw your ad on FB and wanted to see what you were all about.
I enjoyed my first course with Ms. Stokes. It revisited and reinforced the basics, the process and the work you need to do to get the results you want. As well as using what you have - your photo images for instance. I worked a little with charcoal years ago - mostly in life drawing. Also enjoy using my fingers to blend. So, I wanted to challenge myself again.
2023 back again. Enjoyed your teaching style in the past and want to be motivated to do more.
