Chris Maree

I am 43 years old, born and raised in South Africa and currently residing in Trinidad and Tobago. My friends would describe me as an Optometrist by day and a Chandler/Painter by night.
My partner, Andrew Galt and I, Started our Apothecary company (Galt/Maree) in 2016 and since then my creative juices started to flow strongly.
I am very passionate about many forms of art with Acrylic Fluid Art, oil and Acrylic Painting as my absolute favorites in conjunction with creating intoxicating scents for GALT | MAREE.
“EXPERIENCE EMOTION WITH US” is what GALT | MAREE strive for, it’s their logo,
their slogan and this is exactly what i want to achieve with anyone who has one of my pieces.
Creativity has always been my second nature!
My passion for art stems from its uniqueness and simulation of motion and how all the colors interact with each other. No two pieces will ever be the same and its individuality intrigues me.
My style is bright, colorful and vibrant.
It is my hope that others can see the movement and experience the emotion in all of my pieces.
