I am a freelance photographer from Transylvania currently traveling through Spain. I have been interested in travel and photography from a young age and as soon as I came of legal age I set out to discover the world with my camera. I have also been involved in humanitarian issues since my childhood and my interest to depict the diversity of the human condition through photography grew into a passion.
Through my work I want to document the world around me, to capture moments that would otherwise go unnoticed. I am intrigued by the effect that color and light have on the way we see objects, locations and people and I often research the emotional effect of these in my work. I am driven by the prospect of discovery and drawing connections between the known and the unknown. I like to immerse myself in long-term photography projects motivated by personal experience and interests.
I studied English Literature and Journalism at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and completed a two-year photography training parallel to my university studies. Since then I have completed further courses in photography and graphic design to broaden my horizons in the world of visual expression.
I have worked for two years on a longform photojournalistic project, Hecho en Mexico, spreading throughout Guatemala and Mexico, investigating the issues of migration in Central America, continuing voluntary work while independently reporting on the situation. In 2020 I received the Business Excellence Awards for Best Cultural Awareness Media Project - Americas for the work on Hecho en Mexico.
Right now I am working on a travel photography project in Spain, currently in Granada.
