As a Chile my dream was to become an illustrator. circumstances, lack of self-confidence, finances and more, led me to complete a teacher education in art instead. it took me many years to accept that I was a teacher but I never let go of the dream of working with my own art. parallel to the teaching job, I freelanced as an illustrator and graphic designer, I painted my oil paintings and started exhibiting. today I accepted a job where I teach 60% for students who are around 18 years old. it suites me well. the rest of the time I work on my own projects, painting and sometimes illustration in my studio.
