Walt Landers

In 1959 into the 60s, after discovering the AirBrush, I painted cartoons on T&Sweat shirts at events like race tracks and county fairs. In 1964, after becoming enchanted with the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, I drew their caricatures, and some other comic stories and sent them to Petersen Publishing in L.A... They bought them and the Beatles cartoon was their table of contents page, front of the comic book called CAR'toons. In my retirement years, I have become interested in portrait drawings, and often 'exhibit' my efforts on FaceBook. Over recent years, I have seen progress in my skill level.
