Todd Davis
I was always an artsy kid and started drawing at a young age. My favorite thing to do was draw pictures of characters that I loved from movies and cartoons.
I never received any real training until college where I focused very heavily on life drawing. Charcoal drawings of nude models, portraits and landscapes.
I didn’t start sculpting until near the end of my time at college and it was love at first sight, I had found my thing!
Shortly after learning how to manipulate the clay, make molds and cast, I became fascinated with prosthetic makeup and did many cosplay projects as well as a few independent films around the Midwest.
In recent years I’ve gone back to making display sculptures inspired by the types of characters I loved growing up.
