Creig Lamb

Hey! My name is Creig Lamb. I live in Toronto, Canada. I am a professional economist and policy researcher and run a small research consultancy called Shift Insights where I study economic and social policy focussing on inequality and inclusive economic growth, housing, and innovation. I am also incredibly passionate about furniture design - with a focus on lighting. On the side I collect, refurbish, and sell vintage lamps - typically space age lighting from 60s and 70s. I am hoping to develop my skills and abilities to begin to design and create my own lamp collections. I am often inspired by the Italian Radical movement and later the Memphis Group, all of whom pushed the boundaries of what furniture and design could be - and added a fun and whimsy that I feel is sorely missing from our lives.
