I’m an aspiring artist and illustrator. I like to draw characters from my favorite books, and one day I would love to design book covers. I love trying all different media, lately I’ve been studying posca paint pens and digital art apps. I would like to take coursework in perspective drawing and figure drawing, especially cityscapes and expressive figures in action. I’d also love to explore print-based graphic design and podcasting.
Almost 10 years ago I took university coursework in drawing and painting, but I didn’t pursue my art until just this past year when I used art making as my pandemic hobby / coping mechanism. In my day job, I’m a software designer and developer for a local nonprofit organization, where I express my creativity through pixels.
