As a kid I loved drawing Walt Disney pictures and horses.
As a teenager Roger Dean was my favourite and than lots of artists inspired me like Magritte, Willink, Escher, Alan Lee, Brian Froud, Andrew Wyeth, and so many others.
When I was 20 I designed fabrics and earned a lot of money with that job. But computers took my job over and I switched to IT business never drawing anything (accept for plans) again.
So it’s almost been 40 years ago since I made my last drawing.
Now I quited my job recently and retired. That gives me lots of time and I would love to pick up drawing again.
I saw some pictures of our teacher at an exhibition in Edam and It is pretty close to some of my ideas although I would like to ad some colors from time to time.
Choice of music:
Bach, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Nils Frahm, Remy van Kesteren (an innovatieve harpist), filmmusik from Nick Cave and many others.
Nature really inspires me!!!
