Karin Crona

I was born in 1968 in Sweden, and today I live and work in Paris. I graduated with a Master in Decorative Arts from Konstfack - University College of Art and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. My autobiographical work combines different mediums: collage, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video around the condition of women. I often use automatic writing to access my deepest intuitions. I have exhibited at the Circulation(s) festival at 104 in Paris (2018), at the Swedish Institute in Paris (2018), at the Biennale d'Issy in Issy-les-Moulineaux (2017, 2019 and 2021), and at Susanne Pettersson Gallery / SPG Backstage in Stockholm, Sweden (2019). In 2018 I was nominated for the HSBC Prize.
