I have been creative for as long as I can remember. As a child, while my friends were playing with dolls, I was busy making, drawing and crafting with anything I could get my hands on. My professional career took a scientific route so I hope that this course can help me access some of the creative skills that have taken a back seat for so long. I am influenced by artists that use bright colours, nature and human form. Drawing and painting for me is about escaping from reality. I want to make something I can be proud of and help me to encourage my children to find a creative passion too.
