Graphic designer and illustrator based in Coimbra. With an academic background in pharmaceutical sciences and a long standing interest in visual arts, completed a FLAGPROFESSIONAL Graphic Designer course at FLAG Porto in 2018 to obtain the technical knowledge needed to go professional as a graphic designer.
My work in graphic arts started a while back doing posters for friends' and my own DJ gigs, and also for parties and concerts organised through openshirt.pt. I work mostly with my own drawings, usually ink on paper, exploring either an abstract language or a more pictorial one frequently inspired by my old love for comics and cartoons.
During 2018 I completed an internship at the Science Communication Office at the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology in Coimbra (CNC) providing communication material for the centre’s activities.
Besides my visual arts work I also have a radio show at Radio University of Coimbra, DJ occasionally and also dabble in jewellery creation.
