Jane Mitchell

I am a retired health care professional and am now dedicating my time to my hobbies. I attended Art College in Leeds after I retired from a long career in the NHS. I enjoy hiking , mostly in the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria, looking after my Dog and socialising. I draw, paint, print and do Photography. I like to take my images form these techniques into digital software to tessellate and create surface patterns. I use Synoptics to enhance my practice the key ones being repeat and combine. I photograph subjects then draw and paint or print them in a variety of ways and try to combine them digitally or by collage. I enjoy experimenting with different materials and combinations.
