Jill Whalen

I am a retired elementary school teacher and natural history museum educator. I was born in North Carolina, moved to Colorado for 22 years, and am now back living in the Carolina mountains. To keep myself busy during the early times of the pandemic, I began a nature journal, recording the wildflowers in my heavily wooded neighborhood. I now do some acrylic painting on canvas and wood. I'm very excited to improve my drawing skills!
