I am a retired health manager. Years of experience around board meetings, specialised in mental health, prison health care,drugs, obesity, and chaired charity for homelessness. Made a skirt in school, and a blouse, made my curtains but that’s it. I’m only short and slightly rotund so attracted to the idea of making something that doesn’t drag on the floor!

I love food and cook from fresh every day, I utilise a local veg box, and try to cook healthy recipes. I would like to build a book that my children can keep of my recipes, particularly their favourite childhood ones.
