Janet L'Abbe

I studied art at various points in my life and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts at fifty. I worked at a “real” job to support my family but always sought out life drawing groups to keep up my interest in drawing. Now that I am retired I’ve been teaching myself calligraphy using both ink and water colour.
I hope this course helps to relight the artistic spark that I had as a young person. Throughout the years I’ve been gifted paints, brushes, etc. but motivation became nonexistent. This will be a great stimulus for using my aged supplies.
