Isabel Lui

I am from Hong. Kong and is now living in the Rocky Mountain in the United States. I studied both Chinese and Western fine arts as minor in college. I love travelling and have been to many different places all over the world. Later in life, I find myself like spending time in nature and observing nature. It always makes me experience a deeper connection to my inner self and gives me consolation for the chaos and changes in life. I am retired and am very glad to enter a period of life that I can use my time to do the things that I like. I started exploring watercolor during the pandemic and for the first time, sending my creative works as Christmas cards to families and friends that I love but could not visit. It helps relieve my sense of isolation and reconnect with them while engaging in the creative process. They all were gladly surprised to receive my cards and are very happy. That makes me happy too.
