As a Cuban-born, Chicago-based fine art photographer and educator, I draw upon a multidisciplinary foundation rooted in over twenty years of classical music training. My visual practice intertwines elements of self-representation and documentary storytelling, often exploring the poetic possibilities of XIX-century alternative photographic processes. I am captivated by the contemplative nature of stillness and the subtle dialogues that emerge within quiet spaces—moments where creativity is nourished by the rhythm of urban life and the silence between sounds.
