As an art major in college, I was thinking I'd become an artist. However, after graduation and real life work experience, i realized i didn't have the personal self-discipline to be a professional artist. After 40 years as a college professor of ESL English and Elementary Spanish, I'm now semi-retired, with more time on my hands. I started taking painting classes with a classically-trained artist. I've been doing mostly portraits in oils, but last week, I ventured forth into the world of watercolor and gouache. I'm here to learn more...MUCH more!
