Nigel Hackett

Hi my name is Nigel and I live in rural Shropshire. After taking early retirement in 2018 I decided to take up art again has a hobby. I hadn't painted for 40 years and decided I wanted to learn and develop watercolour techniques after using oils in the past. I get inspiration from the countryside and wildlife around me which I see everyday for much of my artwork. I have also done some commissions for family and friends of their pets. This is the first online course I have done and really looking forward to it. I will hopefully gain more confidence and learn to paint more loosely after completing the course.
