I am a retired high school teacher who started to draw more seriously after I left work. I primarily draw in graphite but I have recently started to use colour pencil. I like to experiment drawing on different surfaces such a various weights of paper, canvas panel, stretched canvas, and gesso covered MDF board. I prefer realism and hope to get better drawing realistic colour pencil portraits.
