Eric Kaufman

In the course of my life I have been a teacher, a scientist, an investigator, a bureaucrat, and a few other things. I even spent a couple of years looking for gold in Nevada. Ten years ago, I graduated from the necessity of working for other people, and shortly after that, I began to dream about specific sculptures. I started to try to make what I saw in my dreams. It quickly became apparent that I needed to acquire new skills. I took classes. I learned to work with metal, then with wood. I learned to sculpt in clay and then to paint. A decade later, I find myself on a journey of artistic expression learning whatever I need to know to complete my latest project. Domestika is just one more step on the journey, one more tool in the toolbox.
