I live in the USA in a area that is flowing with the natural beauty of lakes, wildlife and gardens. I enjoy quilting, writing, drawing, painting, racquetball, pickleball and volleyball. I am a beginner in drawing and watercolor skills. I love birds, flowers and wildlife. I love the look of watercolor. I took a couple watercolor class from the local college in my town and quickly realized I needed to improve what my eye sees before I continued on my painting journey. I took the course "Learn to see as an Artist Sees", and a couple other drawing courses. They were very helpful. I have done a few small watercolor pieces. What I hope to learn from this course is to understand this medium so I can have more consistency to achieve the look I want instead of a happy surprise now and then, learn patience as I tend to overwork an area, and to paint more loosely.
