I'm a languages teacher who is fooling around with the idea of retiring next year. When I have free time which, as a teacher in an inner London comprehensive is almost never I spend time with my husband (our kids have left the nest and we LOVE it!) and our doggy Cooper. I like writing and performing stand up comedy but I am looking to seek out projects I can do when retirement comes so I am not spending all my time sitting around eating biscuits (which could happen). I have always loved sewing and I am a passable amateur but I'd like to get better at it as clothes give me my happiness and we all need more of that!
