“Other applications As we saw in the previous lesson, there are endless variations that you can you do with these stitches but I wanted to show you some projects I created. I had a straw hat without much detail, so I decided to add a bit of texture to it. To liven up the straw hat, I decided to apply hand-dyed cotton yarn to it. Then I used the fringe stitch to add a bit of volume and texture. And finally, I sewed two wrapped tassels to give it a bit more personality. Another accessory I spiced up was this little backpack I had which looked like it needed more life. I applied hand-dyed cotto...”
