Give the last touches to your scene before getting the rendered images of your project
Created as a platform for video game development, Unreal Engine has taken over the world of Architectural Visualization —also known as ArchViz— thanks to its ease of use, its integration with other architecture software, and its commitment to photorealism.
Throughout the four courses of this Domestika Basics you’ll learn from scratch to create the interior scene of a 3D architecture project with Unreal Engine 4, the leading software in real-time image rendering. This means that you no longer have to wait hours to render infographics, but tenths of a second.
You’ll learn how to download, install, and configure the software to get the best performance on your computer, as well as learning how it works and how to use the program itself, its sections and its elementary functions.
Next, you’ll start creating a fast prototype of a scene. The idea is to start seeing approximate results of what you can do, taking advantage of the software’s modeling tools, as well as basic notions of lightning and materials.
In the third course, you’ll make the final 3D scene and go deeper into the finishing touches, through more advanced lighting concepts and materials to obtain a realistic result.
Lastly, you’ll make some final touches to the appearance and visual configuration of your cameras, learning how to obtain rendered still images and video sequences. Also, you’ll learn how to package your project, so that any user can execute it from anywhere and watch the rendered video in real-time on their computer.
Technical requirements
- ⦁ A computer with Windows 7 or higher, or macOS 10.9.2 or higher.

⦁ It is recommended to have an Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card or higher.
