Picturebook Creation

Flavia studied graphic design in Mexico and for many years, worked in branding and packaging design. She later became an illustrator and is now a full-time writer and illustrator of picturebooks for children of all ages. Her books can be found in Mexico, Spain, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and online through Amazon.

As a designer, she has worked with Dolce Gusto, Nestlé Chocolate, and Hermés. She has illustrated for editorials such as Combel (Ricitos de Oro), Petra (Dientes, Santo Remedio), Delete Dog (Balandra), and the Secretary of Culture in Mexico (Tolstoi), A Fin de Cuentos (Alimentos que cambiaron al mundo), Castillo (Maroma y la mariposa roja) and Walker Books (Gustavo the Shy Ghost); and for animation studios like HolaCombo (Matlatzinca and #Refugeechildren) and Dicinueve36 (Little Thinkers).
