Now that the paint is completely dry. we can safely lace the shoes without worrying about smudging or any other issues. The idea is. as illustrated in the sketch. to have a black lace and a white lace wrapping around each shoe. Since there are no laces that are half-black and half-white available. We devised a simple. handmade method: tying two laces together with a knot. Vans laces measure 1.20 meters. so we use that length and trim the shorter side.
