This course contains four didactic units in which Mónica will show you what she does and what her method of work is. It will show you where you are looking for inspiration to make your wonderful prints. It will also offer you some basic notions of different techniques to draw your pattern, sure you will be surprised by the amount of things you can do with materials you have at home and finally a simple guide on how to create a rapport in Photoshop to apply on any surface or support. In our case we will apply it to a packaging.

What you need
For this course, you will need an average level of Photoshop, computer, scanner and drawing or painting material, such as watercolors, waxes or markers and also the right paper for everything.

Mónica Muñoz (1978, Salamanca)
She works in Madrid as a designer of freelance prints and in her own brand of clothing and accessories. His prints reflect the outline of drawings initially painted in watercolor, markers or waxes.
She has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca. She has worked in advertising as a graphic designer, designing products for important Museums stores, as an art director in Fun & Basics and regularly collaborates as a freelance for other companies and brands such as Zara Home or Urban Outfitters.
He teaches an illustration class oriented to pattern desing in the IED of Madrid (European Institute of Design) in the Master of textile design and surfaces and the University of Salamanca.
He has participated in several occasions in the showroom of "El Ego" during the Fashion Week in Madrid and has been chosen by Metropolis of El Mundo as one of the 10 new talents of young design in our country.

I learned a lot of new ways to design in Photoshop. Trying to read the translated English as she demonstrated was a challenge. The translation is not great., lots of nonsensical words to try to figure out.
