About the video: What will we do in the course?
Overview
“I really want to accompany you in this first approach to the creation of your first personal project as author. You are going to decide the topic and the approach you want to give it, you are going to choose specific tools to shape and communicate your emotions and thoughts. You may have already made many images in your life and they are powerful and interesting. In this course, I also propose that you start working on the idea of the image collection; a set of photos that are consistent with each other, forming a narration a little more complete and complex than a single image. The construction of a story with images is the challenge we are dealing with, the adventure of narrating. You can make a collection around almost any theme. Anything that amuses you or appeals to you can be a good work topic! The important thing is that you are passionate, for example... dogs! We can follow dogs on the street; If a colleague has a dog we can photograph him in funny and funny situations, or we can make portraits of dogs and their masters. But maybe we are passionate about architecture, so we can make this axis the central theme of our photo collection. ”
In this video lesson Tanit Plana addresses the topic: What will we do in the course?, which is part of the Domestika online course: Photographic Project Creation. Learn to narrate a story through powerful images in a creative and structured way.
