Catalina Vásquez, better known as Kathiuska, is a Colombian animator and illustrator.
She has worked for the publishing sector, illustrating books, magazines articles, ads, apps, and educational projects, as well as for museums and in cinema and wardrobes. She has also collaborated with brands and clients such as Snapchat, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, Amnesty International, and the Medellín Museum of Modern Art.
In addition to her illustration work, Catalina has directed several short films, including Reciclando Recuerdos, winner of the India Catalina Award for Best New Creator at the 2011 Cartagena International Film Festival, and Cárcel, winner of the 2016 Fondo para el Desarrollo Cinematográfico Colombiano (FDC).
