One of the first influences on photography It came when I met Philip-Lorca diCorcia, an American photographer who works light exquisitely. He often does documentary portraits, hiding lights in the middle of the city to alter natural light and generate chiaroscuros that generate images full of mystery. I think it influenced me to realize of the possibility that the photographic tool has of altering natural perception and to be able to do of the common thing, of the ordinary life, something extraordinary, magical or fantas...”

Alejandro Chaskielberg’s passion for photography started at a young age when he discovered its capacity to alter reality and show it in a more fantastical aspect. While he studied Photography Direction, he worked as a photojournalist, documenting the reality around him.
He developed a unique technique and aesthetic for night photography, for which he is recognized today, receiving the Iris de Oro prize, and claimed the Best Photographer of the Year from the World Photography Organization. He has worked in many parts of the world including Japan, Italy, Surinam, and Argentina, among others, and published three photography books to date.
