Mauricio Esparza Santa Maria
A course by Mauricio Esparza Santa Maria
Mauricio Esparza is a graphic designer by trade with a passion for direction. He has more than 20 years of experience in animation, making short films and directing different projects in the Peruvian audiovisual industry. He has worked as a post producer at Movistar TV, as well as a director and manager at the animation studio Zepellin. He is currently an animation teacher at ISIL and UCAL.
Mauricio also runs his own animation studio, Polirama, together with his business partner and brother Luigi. They've made feature films, such as Mochica, as well as the preschool series Ciudad Jardín, the first made 100% in Peru. They are currently working on two other major animation projects: Babi y Maiki and Ultravioleta.
