She studied industrial design in her home country and then did a master's degree in textile design in London (England). There she discovered the value of handmade objects, the artisanal world, and traditional techniques. She seeks to reflect the culture of her country in each piece she produces.
Carolina currently owns a design studio where she creates contemporary pieces using traditional weaving techniques. For over five years now, the studio has specialized in creating pieces with PVC cord. They combine shapes, textures, colors, and materials to create unique, ergonomic, and, above all, ethical pieces as they work under the concept of fair trade, positioning artisanship as a valuable profession.
