Textile art workshop

Ofelia y Antelmo is a project created by Gabriela Martínez - designer and textile artist - in 2017 that was born as a proposal for contemporary textile art presented in two formats that go hand in hand: textile art and wearable art.

Textile art is the starting point of Gabriela's process, in which she explores all her ideas of colors, textures, stitches and effects and then seeks to land them in handmade garments with resistant finishes and stitches. The main motivation is that quality prevails over quantity, thus creating pieces that can be inherited, as a form of protest at the speed at which the world moves today.
