“Now we will see the preparation of the chemicals and what is each one for. For black and white development we basically need three chemicals, that have been revealing, stop bath and fixative. In addition to these three chemicals, I like to use a water bath at first so that the film is wetted and when receiving the developer chemical, the film is not dry and achieves uniform development. The first chemical that we will use is the developer and this serves to expose the film. It is what manages to make the film appear.
