No prior experience is necessary: just follow the safety instructions, trust the process, and let your creativity flow. By the end, you'll have finished soaps and the knowledge to continue experimenting with your own formulas. 1. Prepare utensils and safety measures Gather the necessary materials and apply basic precautions to handle caustic soda and other ingredients safely. Example project: An organized kit with gloves, goggles, hand mixer, scale and ready-to-use molds. 2. Formulate your base recipe Learn to balance oils and additives according to the properties you want: softness, cleansing, foam or firmness. Example project: A simple recipe with olive and coconut oil for a moisturizing and foaming soap. 3. Make a simple soap Mix the ingredients, reach trace and pour into molds for your first basic soap. Example project: A smooth block of soap, without added color or fragrance, perfect for checking texture and hardness. 4. Cutting, curing and storage Cut your soap into bars, let it cure for the appropriate time, and store it in optimal conditions to maintain its quality. Example project: A batch of soaps stored in a cool, ventilated place for four weeks. 5. Create a designer soap Experiment with layers, shapes, or decorations that give your soap personality.
